Senior Scientist Manager, DeteCas™
Job Description
CD BioSciences is a professional substance detection service provider, using CRISPR-Cas systems for analyte detection. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior scientist to lead a research group focused on the CRISPR-Cas technology platform. This is a hands-on role and the successful candidate should lead the planning and execution of scientific experiments, which may include molecular assays, development of novel CRISPR-Cas platforms, etc.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of scientists.
- Lead early-stage scientific research and development of CRISPR-Cas technology platform.
- Write technical documents including standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and reports.
- Support patent applications and registrations.
- Supervise, mentor and cross-train other scientists.
Qualifications
- PharmD or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, systems biology, immunology, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with CRISPR-Cas technology platform.
- Extensive technical industry experience.
- Proven experience in building and managing successful relationships with internal and external collaborators.
- Excellent technical documentation presentation and written skills.
