Biotechnology Specialist, DeteCas™
Job Description
CD BioSciences is a professional substance detection service provider, using CRISPR-Cas systems for analyte detection. We are looking for a talented and experienced biotechnology scientist to help us further develop our material testing platform. The individual will be involved in the use of the CRISPR-Cas technology for a variety of molecular assays.
Responsibilities
- Design novel CRISPR-Cas genome editors.
- Perform molecular assays and follow-up studies using the CRISPR-Cas platform.
- Collaborate with a group of scientists to apply scientific expertise and gene editing techniques to design and conduct molecular assays to support research.
- Produce reports, posters and presentations for internal communication with project teams.
- Assist with laboratory management.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in cellular and molecular biology, bioinformatics, genomics, biochemistry, immunology or related field.
- Prior hands-on experience with CRISPR-Cas technologies.
- Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in CRISPR-Cas development.
- Ability to independently plan and perform experiments and analyze data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
